I have been married for 46 years and have a daughter, son-in-law, grand-daughter and grandson in Scotland and a son and daughter-in-law in Australia.
I have been around dogs for most of my life and have worked in a grooming salon and boarding kennels. Most of my dogs are rehomed or rescues and I have had collie x’s and Labradors but my first love is the German Shepherd. They have now been part of the family for the last 22 years.
I have done obedience with all my dogs and have competed several times but for the past 20 years agility has been my priority and I compete most weekends during the summer.
I like to attend seminars with different Trainers to get new and fresh ideas for teaching agility as methods have changed over the years.
My greatest pleasure when teaching is seeing the progress of handlers and their dogs especially when they have doubts if agility is for them. I have trained many breeds of dog from the small to the large so have experience with the different problems that can arise with different breeds.
